DEAREST JACOB’S FIRST WIFE

This blog post is dedicated to Jacob’s first wife. No, definitely not Jacob Black, because I got dibs on him already! Meaning I’m the future Mrs. Black! CHOS!! Heehee I’m referring to Jacob of the bible, his first wife was named Leah. You see, I know this one awesome person whose name is also Leah. Let me tell you how awesome This Leah is:

1. Leah is a patient and caring roommate back in UPLB Freshmen days. She never forgets to share her food (weird healthy food), words of wisdom, and reminding me and Pat to clean our apartment. I will never forget our Daga Attacks and “Hello Anton, I’m 0922”. Our crushes: JC P. And Sam C. Oh those were the days! (These are very nakakahiyang pictures of us during our freshmen years in UP Los Banos. What we do when we’re bored. We both tried to dress as husband and wife. Exchange pa! I think I can pull off the Yuan of my Binondo Girl! Yes?Haha)

2. . Leah was there for me during my 2 big break ups ever! She made me cope through the end of a 3 year relationship and SURVIVE the horror of a 2 year relationship and finally get over it! So proud!

3. Leah accompanied my in my EAT, PRAY, LOVE adventure in Bohol last October 2010. One of my favorite Vacations in the world!

4. Leah brought me to the Tarsier Habitat! First time ever to see one!

5. We conquered the Chocolate Hills together!

6. Leah brought me to one of the most peaceful and beautiful beaches in the Bohol/Philippines. Panglao Beach!

I am comfortable wearing a bikini around her despite my weight gain. In fact, she’s always been reminding me to watch my weight and exercise!

7. Leah is always game to do adventures with me! Like sing and go crazy with me! We sing love songs and worship songs! She plays the piano really really well too!

or like getting a massage

or eating weird ice cream flavors!

or going inside huge scary caves!

8. Leah doesn’t judge me even if I drink Buko Juice too much (Back in UP Los Banos where I drink an average of 3-4 glasses of Buko Juice a day ) or any drink actually! She reprimands me when I get drunk! Wahahaha

9. Leah never judge me by the way I eat. She has fully accepted that fact na isa akong matakaw na nilalang. Plus we have eating adventures!

10. Leah’s been there for me through thick and thin (YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN! For that I love you so much) She’s really a buddy to me.

To the most awesome Leah I know,

The one thing I will always be thankful for having you in my life is because you’ve always been my spiritual mentor. My 2010-2011 was Hell, but you’ve been there for me, our constant Bible Studies, our prayers, our stories and our adventures. You’ve been my own little light in my life. You may not be Jacob’s first choice but you’re the number one and only Leah in my life!

Happy Happy Birthday Buddy I love you! You’re a sister to me. You’re one of the people I’ll always be thankful to God for blessing me with.
